American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Erie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

LONG REVIEW!! On Sunday morning, my girlfriend and I woke up craving a bagel, and being too lazy to cook breakfast ourselves, we wanted to order from our favorite local spot, Jo's Brooklyn Bagel in the food hall downtown via DoorDash. My girlfriend is particular about her bagel order: it's not just about the type of bagel, it's about what and how much goes on the bagel. In this fase, she likes a light application of whipped butter. The workers know us by face when we visit in person, and 9 times out of 10 can state our order as we walk up. They are all kind and professional, making it a great experience each time we visit. Ordering from the DoorDash app can be a bit of a dice roll, however. Without knowing if the worker will read the special instructions on our selection, it's a minor annoyance if it's not quite right. The privilege we have to be annoyed by this is apparent, I know. But when your hungry for something particular, especially a favorite item, you want what you want. I called the number attached to the store through the app in hopes to speak with whoever was working before placing the order to ensure my woman got what she wanted, taking an extra step to get the orde

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at your shop, especially considering this was my first visit. From the moment I placed my order, I felt I was being talked down to instead of being treated with basic respect. When I ordered an Americano, the staff member sarcastically asked me, βDo you know that an Americano is just espresso with water?β This comment was completely unnecessary and came across as condescending. I then politely asked if they could add ice to my drink, and instead of simply helping or explaining the options in a professional manner, I was told that they could only make it βless hot.β The entire interaction made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience. Unfortunately, things only got worse after I got home. When I opened my bagel, I found that it was burnt to the point that large portions were black and charred, making it unpleasant to eat. On top of that, the wrapper wasnβt even sealed properly, showing a complete lack of attention to quality and presentation. I genuinely cannot understand how anyone thought it was acceptable to serve food in this condition. A burnt bagel is something that should have been obvious before it ever reached a cust
